May I ask a favor? . . .

Currently, I am doing self study for a part of the Business Intelligence Developer certification, and I am about to invest $7,000 to $10,000 taking a series of courses at New Horizons. I'd like feedback as to whether you feel this is the best investment of my time and money or if another certification is more valuable from your company's perspective.

Specifically I would like to know:

If you were hiring a full-time person, would this certification make you more likely to consider me?
With regard to your company's needs, is there is another product or skill set that will be a better investment of my time and money?
As I am pursuing this certification track, do you know of any jobs, or projects that I can do to gain experience?
